Quality Built into Every Manufacturing Stage
Critical components require more than final inspection. Our quality system maintains qualified personnel, controlled equipment and traceable evidence from material receipt through manufacturing, inspection, testing and final release.
ISO 9001 certified quality management
Our ISO 9001 certified quality management system controls inspection equipment, calibration status, manufacturing records and traceability throughout the complete production route.
In-house inspection capability
Non-destructive testing
Dimensional inspection
Pressure and leak testing
Two EN ISO 9712 Level 2-qualified operators perform visual testing (VT), ultrasonic testing (UT), liquid penetrant testing (PT) and magnetic particle testing (MT). Phased Array UT is available for specific applications.
Dimensional controls are performed with calibrated and monitored instruments managed through the quality system. Results are recorded and included in the project inspection documentation.
Liquid pressure and leakage tests are performed with calibrated and monitored pressure gauges, with traceable test results included in the manufacturing dossier.
Accredited External Laboratories
Destructive mechanical testing
Stable collaboration with Laboratorio T.O.S.I. S.r.l., an Accredia-accredited testing laboratory No. 01147, located approximately 30 minutes from our plant. View accredited test scope.
Industrial radiography
Stable collaboration with a specialist radiographic testing laboratory located approximately 40 minutes from our plant, with capability for components up to 600 mm in thickness.
Controlled and project-specific welding qualifications
Welding equipment is calibrated and monitored. WPS and WPQR qualifications are developed and certified with notified bodies such as RINA and Bureau Veritas. Regular collaboration with RINA makes project-specific welding procedures and qualification documentation part of our normal manufacturing workflow.
A documented route from material to final release
Materials are procured with EN 10204 Type 3.1 inspection certificates.
Throughout manufacturing, De Vecchi performs product-specific NDT and pressure tests using monitored and calibrated equipment and qualified personnel. All results are documented in certificates complying EN 10204 Type 3.1 norm.
Together with the original material certificates, these records provide continuous 3.1 documentation from raw-material procurement through every manufacturing stage to the final release of the finished component, including customer- or notified-body-witnessed tests when required.
Project documentation as standard practice
Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Manufacturing Production Processes (MPP), Welding Maps and End of Manufacturing Reports (EOMR) are standard documentation for our critical-component projects.
